We have a fantastic Multicultural Day event behind us. Just like last year, students of English-language programs from the SUM Medical Sciences Faculties in Katowice and Zabrze prepared a lot of surprises.

During the event, students representing countries from all over the world presented dishes, dances, history and culture of their homelands. Students and lecturers gathered in the hall could hear about countries such as: South Africa, Ireland, Nigeria, Spain, Pakistan and India.

But at the beginning, our foreign students also had the opportunity to learn about Polish history and culture. It was presented by the reconstruction group, to which our lecturer, Prof. Grzegorz Brożek belongs. It was wonderful, energetic, empathetic.

The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Promotion and International Cooperation, Prof. Wojciech Wojakowski, and the dean’s authorities were represented by Prof. Małgorzata Skucha-Nowak (Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze) and Prof. Tomasz Francuz (Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice).
